Jesse earned his degree in English with a minor in Creative Writing from Humboldt State University in Arcata, CA. Before jumping into the world of growth marketing, he spent 10 years as a Hotshot Firefighter—trading in firelines for funnels.

Marketing career highlights include being the third employee at YouCaring, where he helped it grow into the second-largest peer-to-peer crowdfunding platform before its acquisition by GoFundMe. He also led growth at Ironclad, helping scale revenue from $10MM to $65MM through its Series D and E rounds.
